For your urgent shipments with Air India, you can use our express shipping services Rapid and Rapid++. While Rapid accepts cargo up to 6 hours before departure, Rapid++ enhances flexibility by enabling shipments to be scheduled as late as 4 hours prior to take-off—ensuring smoother planning and guaranteed uplift. In addition to Rapid, Air India Cargo offers guaranteed uplift as a privileged feature for shipments booked under its Rapid++ service line. Explore our express shipping service line here.

Air India Cargo will not accept goods which are:

  • liable to endanger the aircraft, persons, or property, and

  • prohibited by law or regulations of the country of origin or destination, transit, or overflown.

Yes, Air India carries the mortal remains of your loved ones in two forms:

  1. Human remains as body (in coffins) 

  1. Humans remains as ash (in urns)

If you have already registered with Air India Cargo and want to book your shipments, you could use our Air India Cargo Management System. New customers will have to first Sign Up to proceed with bookings.

Visit the Air India Cargo Management System and click on Sign Up. Have the following information handy to create your account:

  • Your company’s 11-digit IATA code or a company code provided by Air India Cargo
  • Your name and mobile number
  • Your company email ID
    • Please do not use Gmail or other public email ID.  If you don’t have a company email, please contact your Air India Cargo regional manager for assistance.

When sign-up is complete, Air India Cargo will confirm your account information and send login credentials to the email ID associated with your account.

Freight forwarders can create an account on the Air India Cargo Management System to book and track air freight.

No, the Air India Cargo Management System requires a new account.
